You absolutely can do silver as this is the silver anniversary, but you do not have to be tied to that theme only.

Decide on a theme and then go all out with it. Your favors, centerpieces, food, invites, ect should all reflect the theme.

If you are more traditional and really want to just do the Silver theme, then here are some ideas for your decor.

Set the table with gorgeous white linens. Use silver chargers and white plates with silver trim. White chair covers with a silver bow will compliment the table well.

As your centerpiece you can use mirrors, beautiful crystal candle holders, white or silver candles, and
Silver Wedding Bands as "table confetti".

If you want a floral centerpiece, use fresh white roses with a silver bow.

Balloons are a great way to bring in some glam for not a lot of money. A balloon arch done in silver, white, or silver and white is a great idea. Balloons also make really great centerpieces.
