How do I decorate where the chairs and isle are going to go if it is a dirt backyard?

Hi Brandy,

Outdoor weddings can be a real challenge, but with a few creative ideas, you can dress it up to look divine.

To dress up the isle, place your items every fourth or fifth chair or so. Use potted plants, columns with plants on top, bird baths filled with water and floating candles, large metal plant hooks with lanterns or plants, ect.

The chairs can be dressed up with tulle tied around the backs, pretty floral bouquets hanging on the back, or ribbon bows. Only decorate the chairs that are on the isle to keep costs down.

Or simply scatter a "carpet" of rose petals on the isle. You can also use a runner. It's made of paper and you just throw it away when the wedding ceremony is over.
