Christmas Centerpiece Ideas

vintage christmas centerpiece

You've arrived at the place where you'll find fabulous Christmas centerpiece ideas.

Your centerpiece is the most important part of your decor. Make sure it does the job of impressing your guests.

A Christmas centerpiece doesn't have to cost alot or be so difficult even Martha Stewart can't manage it.

Sometimes simple is actually better. Although I must say, it's really not hard to go all out if that is what you prefer.

Don't think that you only have to use Christmas colors and Christmas items. Mix and match. Throw in some gold or silver to make any color more festive.

Fill a Festive Bowl

Fill a large bowl with ornaments. This is a quick and easy way to add color to any table. You can use a glass bowl, pottery, or china. Mix and match the ornaments for more interest.

Candle and Wreath

Lay a Christmas wreath in the middle of the table. Put a hurricane globe in the middle of the wreath. Place a candle in the middle of the hurricane glass. You can use a simple green wreath or make a wreath with ornaments. Embellish with wired ribbon bows if desired.

Fake It

Wrap boxes in beautiful wrapping paper, fabric, wall paper, brown paper, or newspaper. Place a bow and an antique brooch or button in the middle of the bow. No one will know that they are fake. Stack them in the middle of the table. You can use cake plates for different heights.

Fill a clear vase with ornaments. This is really pretty with vintage ornaments but you can use new ones as well. Use colors that match your Christmas decor.

Make Tiers

Use crystal candlesticks and plates to make a tiered centerpiece. Start with a candlestick and add a plate on top of that. Add another candlestick and add a smaller plate on top of that. Add another candlestick and then add a smaller plate. Fill the plate with ornaments, greenery, Christmas cupcakes, small presents, or flowers.

Small Trees

Use small Christmas trees. Decorate just like you would a large tree but use miniature ornaments.

Greenery and Candles

Lay fresh greenery out on the table. Nestle in candles here and there. Add some pinecones and you have a fantastic centerpiece.

Bejeweled Bowl

Fill a bowl with clear faux gems. Place pillar candles in the gems. Hang crystal garland dripping off the sides. Place the bowl on a crystal pedestal cake plate.
