Cinderella Birthday Party

Question...
I'm having a Party at a Camp ground fall festival with boys and girls. It's my little girl's 3 y/o Cinderella birthday party. I have ~ 20 kids invited, so what are some ideas for little boys at this party? Gift bags, games, etc?
Answer...
Hi Brande,
Oh I do love princess parties! So girly and sweet, but that becomes a problem when you invite boys. What to do? This is what I do...
I combine the Princess party and the Knight or Prince party. That way the boys will feel a part. The girls can be a Princess. And the boys can choose to be a Knight or a Prince. Have costumes or small pieces of costumes. Like helmets and swords for the knights, crowns for the princes, and tiaras and wands for the princesses.
For the Cinderella birthday party decorations, purchase a
Cinderella Dreamland Deluxe Party Pack
and a
Knight's Adventure Party Pack
. Find a color that is in both sets of party packs and that will be your main color. Say that color is purple. Use a lot of purple, but bring in more girly colors as well. A great color scheme for the two party packs is purple, lavender, light blue, and white. Add pink here and there as well, but not too much.
Castles are a great touch at a combined royal party. Use them as centerpieces, pinatas, and play houses.
Games for this party need to include all the children.
Rescue the Princess
Lay out an obstacle course. Place a princess for each boy on the other side. The princes and knights must then run the obstacle course to rescue the princess. The first boy to get back with the princess wins. For some real fun let the princesses rescue the princes and knights.
Treasure Hunt
Hide "treasure" all around the house or yard. Tell the kids that the King has lost his treasure and needs help finding it. Give each guest a small treasure chest. Make them out of small Styrofoam coolers spray painted brown or gold. See who can find the most treasure.
Musical Thrones
Play as you would musical chairs. Set up chairs in a circle. Start the music and the players must walk around in a circle. You'll need one less chair than you have players. When the music stops, the players must find a throne to set on. Th player that is left standing is out. Remove one chair and continue playing until there is only one player left. The last player left is the winner!
"Castle Pinata"

Pinatas are always a fun addition to any party. Boys and girls alike will have fun trying to bust it open.
Favors for this Cinderella birthday party are as easy as giving knight favors to the boys and Cinderella party favors for the girls. Or you can always purchase small purple gift bags. Glue a foam crown on the front or stamp with a stamp and ink. Fill with royal goodies. If the bag has handles, then tie pretty ribbon on the handles. If the bag has no handles, just fold down twice and punch two holes in the fold. Run a ribbon through and tie in a bow. Really cute idea for a favor for any party.
I hope your Cinderella birthday party is a success!
