Color Me Beautiful Party

I would like to have some ideas on round table decoration for Ladies Fellowship party at church. I will have at least 5 table to decorate. The consultant will test what color makeup and what colors look best on each lady.

You are welcome for my time. I would love to help you with your Color Me Beautiful party. That is why I am here. I have done so many banquets for church, so I know where you are at. I have been there. I love the Color Me Beautiful book and I follow it to a tee. My closet has been "my colors" for years. It makes shopping so much easier. I know the ladies will have a blast at this party, so let's get to decorating.

The first thing you need to do is decide on a color scheme. It can be anything girly. After that is decided, then you can move on. Round tablecloths are great for round tables. You can get some really cool colors in plastic. Your centerpieces for this Color Me Beautiful party can really be anything. It does not have to specific. Since it's a party for women, you can do flowers or candles in your chosen color scheme for the centerpieces. A vase of fresh roses is always welcome at any party. Candles surrounded by greenery is another popular choice for parties.

Or a really neat idea that will have everyone saying WOW is...since this is a Color Me Beautiful party, and it's based on finding your season...do each table in a specific season. Isn't that great? Okay for the spring table, start with a large vase of tulips, spread out some green Easter grass around the vase and place bunnies, flower candles, and anything that says SPRING. Be sure and add something that says SPRING on it so everyone will know that is the Spring table.

Do the same for each of the other seasons. Summer can be a picnic basket filled with pretty picnic supplies. Fall can be pumpkins and fall foliage. For winter, lay fake snow on the table and add an small evergreen tree with fake snow on it. A mirror can be the "frozen lake". Add other winter things like snowmen, white candles, ect.

When you are decorating for anything, just try to recreate the feeling of actually being there. How does winter feel? Recreate the cold, crisp, icy feeling. Spring is full of hope, fresh flowers, bunnies, and green grass. Summer is laid back fun. Picnics and the beach. Winter is frosty and cold.

Another great Color Me Beautiful party table idea is to do each table in a different color. The flowers, tablecloth, candles, and the plates are in the same color.
