You can do the Dinosaur Party two ways. Living with the Dinosaurs, or Digging for Dinos. Or you can just mix the two. Kids are not perfectionists.
If you do the first party, you'll want more things to do with cavemen and live dinos. If you do the second party, you'll want to go more with pith hats and digging for fossils.
Dinosaur Party Ideas for Invitations
Send out plastic dinosaurs with a tag attached that has all the party information on it.
Cut a dinosaur shape out of scrapbook paper. Glue on eyes and add fine detail with a marker. Glue onto a
piece of card stock. Fold in half. Write party information inside.
This is so cool if you have the time to do it. Papier mache a balloon. Let it dry and paint to look like a dinosaur egg.
Cut around the middle in jagged edges. Leave a little in the back to form a "hinge". Place easter grass inside, and set a toy baby dinosaur setting on it. Write the

Suspend Pterodactyls from the ceiling. I know they're not dinosaurs, but unless you have exacting scientist, you'll be okay.

Digging For Dinosaurs
Fill a small swimming pool with sand. Before the party, bury dinosaur skeletons. Give the kids tools and let them dig.
T-Rex Stomp
Tie a balloon on one ankle. The kids must stomp on the other players balloon to try and pop them. Once your balloon is popped, you are out of the game.
The last player left with a balloon is the winner.
Caveman Drawing
Let the kids draw inside the caves(see above for instructions).

Purchase a long piece of fabric, or use brown craft paper. Let the kids roll it out to the length of the different dinosaurs.

Make a volcano cake. Bake 2 chocolate bundt cakes. set one on a cake plate and cut the other one to add to the bottom of the volcano.
Frost with chocolate frosting and crumble black cookies on top. Put some dry ice in a paper cup and place in the hole. It will smoke. Please be
very careful. Do not touch the dry ice with your bare hands. Use gloves or tongs.
