Easter Party Ideas
Spring is in the air! Don't you just love Easter? I do. The promise of warm weather, and flowers blooming. Families have their own traditions, but I've got a few ideas for your Easter Party as well.
Invitations
Glue a colorful easter egg on the front of pink card stock. Fold. Write your info inside.
You can also send out a plastic egg with the party info on a piece of paper inside. Place in a tiny basket with a small amount of grass.
Party Costumes
Ask a friend to dress up in a bunny costume. Give each guest bunny ears.
Decorations
Your colors are going to be spring colors. Pink, yellow, light blue, lavender, and light green. For your centerpiece, you can place tulips in a vase, or have a large basket with flowers. You can also do a egg tree.
At one party I decorated for, I used 2 big bunnies as my centerpiece.
Bunch up light green tulle and place around centerpiece. Lay eggs, bunnies, chicks, and chocolates here and there. You can also place spring colored candles on the table.
Drape curly ribbon from the chandelier. If your don't have a chandelier over your table area, you can make this flower ball. Just purchase 3 large styrofoam balls. Hot glue flowers all over them. Hot glue a bow on top. Suspend them at different lengths with pretty ribbon.
You can bring out your best china, or go easy on yourself and use paper. They have such cute patterns. Tie a ribbon around your plastic ware.
Games and Activities
Jar of EggsFill a glass jar with chocolate eggs. Let the guests guess how many eggs are in the jar.
Egg Race
Balance raw eggs on spoons in your mouth while having a race. Best to play this one outside!
Pin the Tail on the Bunny
Use a large picture of a bunny. Cotton balls are great for the tail.
Easter Egg Hunt
OF COURSE! No Easter Party would be complete without it. Supply extra baskets for little ones that forgot to bring theirs.
Food and Drinks
The most popular meal is Ham, mashed potatoes, gravy, veggies, and rolls. Makes my mouth water. Be sure and try to get all your food organic if you can. It really does make a difference in quality and taste.
Iced tea is a great idea for a drink. Easy as pie. My favorite flavors are green, raspberry, and peach.
You can give small baskets with different Easter items. Or hand paint eggs with your guests name on it. Place in a little pail with rabbit stickers on the side.
