Be sure and add your address, phone number, the time of party, the end of party, and a note for them to R.S.V.P.
Fancy Nancy Attire (That's a fancy word for costume or clothes)
Fancy Nancy likes anything fancy. The fancier the better. Gather really fancy clothes from friends and family. Check out your local Thrift Stores.
Embellish them even further. You can also just have the girls come in their own "fancy attire" and supply feather boas, tiaras, beads, rings, bracelets, wands, dress up shoes, sunglasses, ect.
Any fairy, princess, or diva costume will work.
Have everything at the front door in a large trunk. Set up a large mirror and a folding screen that the girls can change behind.
Set up a table with coloring pages and crayons to keep the girls busy until all the girls arrive.
Fancy Nancy Party Decorations And Centerpiece Ideas
These Fancy Nancy party supplies take all the work out of party planning. You get darling cups, plates, napkins, balloons, streamers, ribbon, favor boxes, and so much more. It really helps to get this party decor started off. Simply divine darling!
Your colors for this theme are going to be hot pink and purple(Nancy's favorite color). Tie hot pink, white, and purple balloons on the mailbox to alert your guest as to where the party is located.
Make sure there is alot of curly ribbon hanging from them. Run your scissors down the length of ribbon to get it to curl.
Here's the best way I have found to decorate for a child's party. Decorate your dining room table to the hilt and purchase 3 or 4 little card tables for the children to sit at. Keep the decoration minimal on the little tables.
Place Hot Pink Table Covers or the Fancy Nancy Table Covers
on all the tables. Make large bows out of ribbon or tulle. Hot glue flowers on them. Place them around the tables edge and on the backs of chairs. Use your Fancy Nancy Party Supplies as part of your decorations.
Start with the big table. In the middle place a tall vase with fresh or silk flowers. You can also use the Fancy Nancy Centerpiece. Another very chic idea would be a large pink Eiffel Tower. Place around it, a purse, gloves, sunglasses, a feather boa, and dress up shoes.
Lay pearl garland in and around the fancy items on the table. Scatter rose petals around as well. You can also snuggle in pretty teacups and a teapot.
Remember you cannot do too much. Layer it on. And don't forget the chandelier. Wind flower garlands and ribbon down and around. Hang crystal Christmas ornaments with ribbon or fishing wire.
If you don't have a chandelier, you can create a fabulous one for about $5 to $10. Purchase an old chandelier at a garage sale or thrift store. I can usually find one for about a $1.
Take out all of the electrical wires. Spray paint glossy white. Embellish with ribbon, pearl garland, flower garland, and crystals. Place candles where the light bulbs used to be.
You can also make flower balls. Purchase 3 styrofoam balls about the size of a basketball. Hot glue flowers all around them. Top it off with
a pretty ribbon bow. Hang them from the ceiling in staggering lengths.
Tulle is a my best friend. It's about $1 a yard and you can do so much with it. Swag it from the middle of the room to the corners.
Place all your fancy food on your main table as part of the decorations. Display on china and crystal. Put fruit, sandwiches, and cookies on cake plates for added drama.
For the little tables, use pink tablecloths. Place a girly figurine(a ballerina would be cute) and scatter silk flowers and curly ribbon around it.
You can also use balloons everywhere. Group in 3's or 5's.
