Recipes For Healthy Finger Foods
Healthy finger foods don't have to be tofu and bean sprouts. Although I believe bean sprouts are good for you, I can't see a group of 5 year olds eating them. There are better tasting choices for your party appetizers.
If you're a little confused about what I consider healthy, read my

These are my favorite food combinations to put on toothpicks. How easy is that!
- Organic turkey lunch meat, organic jack cheese, and an olive.
- Organic ham, organic cheddar cheese, pineapple chunk.
- Cherry tomato, mozzarella cheese, and fresh basil.
Roll ups are a quick and easy party appetizer that will please any crowd. Use organic white flour tortillas. They taste the best. Just spread with ingredients, roll, and cut.
- Cream cheese, ham, and green onions.
- Cream cheese, smoked salmon, fresh dill.
- Cream cheese, broccoli cut up very fine, and shredded cheese.
Fruit kabobs are great party food as well. They're very popular with kids and adults. Just purchase wooden kabob (or kebob) sticks at the grocery store. Slide on your ingredients. You're done. Best choices for fruit are...
- Strawberries
- Melon chunks
- Grapes
- Pineapple chunks
- Mango chunks
- Watermelon chunks
Keep your party menu simple. Parties can be stressful at times, so please don't stress about the food. Most people are satisfied with simple choices. Just don't invite the picky people! Just kidding.
Some really quick ideas for snacks are...
- Nuts
- Raisins
- Organic pretzels
- Homemade popcorn(pop in coconut oil, drizzle melted butter on top)This is so yummy!
You can also add Italian spices and garlic powder to the popcorn for a different twist.
- Organic chips
- Meat, cheese, and cracker tray(very popular)
- Veggie tray(cut up carrots, celery, broccoli, cauliflower, and bell peppers)
If you have to serve things that are not exactly health food, it's ok. It's a party. Make it as easy on you as possible. Parties are supposed to be fun. You can fill in your party menu with store bought appetizers as well. One less thing you have to do.
