Larry's 40th Golf Birthday Party
A golf birthday party was just the thing for Larry's 40th birthday. He doesn't get to golf as much as he likes and he really likes golf related items.
I decided to keep it really simple and easy. I bought gold plates, gold napkins, and gold and black balloons. This is what matched the golf plaque I had found at Hobby Lobby. I wish I had seen these
Golf Party Supplies. They are perfect. The
Pebble Beach Wall Mural is fantastic!
The plaque was part of the party decor and a gift all in one. Of course the gift was presented in a gold bag that I had decorated with golf stickers and black tissue.
We blew up a bunch of balloons and let them float around the house until they drove me nuts and we had to pop them. Ha ha. Great for a kids party when there is plenty of room, but not so good in a tight space.

The birthday cake was really simple. I didn't really do a theme cake. I just bought a store bought cheese cake and added sweetened strawberries on top. It was delicious and so easy to do. A great tip if you're running low on time.

Here's Larry making a wish and blowing out his birthday candles. It was a simple and cost effective party, but we all had fun and that's what's important!

Happy Birthday Larry!
