Homemade Birthday Card For Dad

Fish Birthday Card

I want to make my Dad a homemade birthday card. Can you give me or show me some ideas please?

Sandy,

Homemade cards are really easy. You need to start with a blank card or fold a piece of card stock in half.

To decide what theme to go with, what does your Dad enjoy doing? If he likes to fish, then do a card with fish on it. And make a funny poem about fishing.

If he likes to golf, then you could do a card about that.

Once you decide on what theme to do, then just get out your scrapbook paper and supplies and go to town. Cut out shapes and put on the front of the card. Try several things. Then when you get it just right, glue everything to secure it.

The card that I show above was made with scrapbook paper, stickers, and fish that I just cut out of a decorative piece of paper. Maybe you can get some ideas from it and do your own version.
