Homemade Playdough Recipe

Cooked Playdough Recipe

• 1 cup of flour
• 1 cup of warm water
• 2 tsp. cream of tartar
• 1 tsp. oil
• 1/4 cup salt
• Food coloring

Mix all ingredients together in a pan. Stir over medium heat until smooth. Remove from the pan and knead on waxpaper until it is well blended. Place in airtight container or plastic bags when it has cooled.

You can also add Kool-Aid packages for color and scent. Orange oil or lemon oil are great for scenting it as well. To preserve the dough, you can also add vanilla extract. It helps to prevent mold.

Peanut Butter Dough Recipe

• 1 cup of creamy peanut butter
• 1/4 cup of honey
• 1 cup of instant non-fat dry milk

Mix together until smooth. This dough recipe is safe to eat for most kids. Always check for allergies.
