How Do I Pick A Theme?
This is very easy. I have a fool proof way to pick the perfect theme for your next party or shower.
Find out what the guest of honor loves. Is it purses? Golf? Basketball? Roses? Daisies? Bears? Shoes? Butterflies? Monkeys? Horses? ect... Now you just go with that theme. The guest of honor will love it and you will be hailed as the party decorator of the year. Your cake, favors, decor, and invitations should all reflect the same theme.
How Do I Find A Great Color Scheme For My Theme?
This is easy as well. Find the party supplies that you are going to use for your theme. Choose 3 or 4 colors from the party supplies and there is your color scheme. No sweat. I was doing a King birthday party for my husband. I found these awesome plates and
napkins that had elegant crowns on them. The colors on the plates were turquoise, brown, and cream. Guess what my color scheme was? You got it. Turquoise, brown, and cream. Take a look at this simple yet elegant little party here.
What Do I Do For A Special Birthday (like 16th, 30th, 40th, 50th, 75th, ect)?
I get asked this a lot. You still need to pick a theme. It needs to be a theme the guest of honor loves. Then you can add in the numbers. Say they like butterflies. So you do a whole butterfly theme. The cake has butterflies all over it. To bring in the age numbers, simply add the numbers on top of the butterfly cake. It brings the two themes together.
Or you can go with a color scheme and just add the numbers everywhere(balloons, pinatas, cake, invites, favors, confetti, and candles).
