Princess Party Ideas

princess castle

The Princess Party is very popular. This page is full of great girls birthday party ideas. I know your little girl will be blown away with these creative birthday party ideas.

You can make these party plans into a Cinderella birthday party, Belle birthday party, Snow White birthday party, Sleeping Beauty birthday party, or Jasmine birthday party by just changing the colors. A Disney birthday party is a delight for all little girls who want to be royalty for one day.

Just look at a picture of your favorite Disney princess. Take your colors off of that. If you need Ariel birthday party ideas, you can visit the Mermaid Birthday Party page for lots of under the sea party ideas.

Here are some Princess party supplies that will make your party sparkle and shine.

If boys are invited to the party, you can look at the Prince or Knight Birthday Party page for some princely ideas.

Princess Birthday Party Invitation Ideas

Purchase ready made Pink Princess Party Invitations or make your own. Draw or print castles off the internet and glue on the front of pink cards.

Handwrite or print inside...

"Hear ye, hear ye. The royal princess(your daughter's name)requests your presence at the castle(your home address).
The festivities will begin at(time of party).
Come join us for some royal fun."

Seal with pretty sticker or a wax seal.

Scroll type invites are popular for royal parties. Just print your info on a piece of paper. Antique it and roll up. Tie with a string or ribbon.

Princess Birthday Party Costume Ideas

Your daughter will be the Belle of the Ball in a princess gown.

No royal party is complete until the beautiful princess is in her gorgeous gown.

Offer dresses and tiaras to each girl. Or you can ask them to come dressed in their own princess dresses.

Have some extra on hand for the little girls who forget, or the ones that don't have a princess dress.

Spray paint old high heel shoes and add feathers, glitter, buttons, and bow. You can also find really neat old prom dresses at thrift stores. Have a large trunk with all kinds of goodies for the girls to dig through. Feather boas are fun too.

.

As the girls are arriving, take them to the makeup station. Have jewelry, makeup, fingernail polish, and fingernail stickers.

A large "mirror mirror on the wall" is a must for the girl's to see how beautiful they are.

You can also do the girl's hair. This gives the girls something to do until all the quests arrive.

Hire some teenagers to help with your princess party. Or ask some of the Moms to help out. You really want to be free to greet all of the guests.

You can also set up a craft station. Get them busy making beautiful bracelets, tiaras or wands with a craft kit. Or simply supply Knight & Princess Coloring Page for them to color.

For your princess party, your colors are going to be pink, white, and silver. Group balloons in 3's. Place them around the room. Use a balloon and sand for a balloon weight. Just fill a balloon with about 1/4 cup of sand and tie in a knot.

Create a canopy with pink tulle. Start in the middle and swag to each corner. Set fake trees with twinkle lights in the corners of the room. Place white pillars here and there.

Place the castles that you've made around the room.

Use a pink tablecloth for your princess party. For your centerpiece use 3 castles( or you can order the Disney Princess Centerpiece). Make sure they are different heights. Wind white tulle and greenery around them. Scatter rose petals. Set princess figurines here and there. Scatter pearls and jewelry. Place silver candle holders with pink candles. Princess Birthday Party Games and Activities

Foam Tiara Craft Kit

Create magical tiaras with this cute princess party kit. Craft kits make girl's birthday parties so much easier. Just order the kit and you are set to go. No running around trying to find all the supplies.

Kiss the Frog Prince

Find a large picture of a frog. Cut out a crown from construction paper or craft foam. Glue onto the frog's head to crown him the Frog Prince. Cut out red lips from red craft foam. Place a piece of double sided tape on the back. Another great idea is to paint the frog onto a magnetic board and hot glue magnets onto the back of the lips. Play just like you would Pin The Tail On The Donkey. Blind fold the player. Turn her around and around. Give her a set of lips and see how close she can get to the frog's mouth. The girl who gets the closest, wins. You could also use bright red lipstick and have the girls actually kiss the frog picture.

Tiara Toss

You'll need to fill 2 liter soda bottles with a little water or sand. This weights them down a bit. You can decorate the bottles with paper and stickers to make them pretty. The players must stand back and try to ring the bottle with the tiara. You can give the girls prizes for the player who rings the most bottles.

Poison Apple Hunt

You can play this game inside or outside. Hide a bunch of apples before the princess party. give everyone a basket and let the girls hunt for the apples. Plastic apples would work great for this princess birthday party game. You can find small ones at craft stores. Or use real ones. the girls can take them home.

Musical Thrones

Play as you would musical chairs. Set up chairs in a circle. Start the music and the players must walk around in a circle. You'll need one less chair than you have players. When the music stops, the players must find a throne to set on. Th player that is left standing is out. Remove one chair and continue playing until there is only one player left. The last player left is the winner!

Frog Prince Craft Kit

This fun foam craft kit makes an adorable decorated frog prince! Comes with foam parts, eyes, and decorations to decorate the frog with!
