Regression Party Ideas
The Regression Party Theme is a blast. It's for teens that just refuse to grow up. Hey, they still like to play Pin the Tail on the Donkey. What's wrong with that?

Invitations
Keep with whatever theme you've chosen. Don't be cool. Be very childish. Like a cartoon princess or teddy bear. Let everyone know that your teen has decided not to grow up this year. They've regressed. And he/she wants to celebrate kid fashion.
Party Costumes
Again go with the theme. If you're doing a
Pirate Party
, then deck everyone out in pirate attire. Do it up big.
Fairy Party
is very popular among all ages of girls. Hey, I'm way past being 8, and I would love it. Where's my tutu?
Decorations
You'll want lots of balloons. Put them in groups of 3's or 5's. Place them everywhere. You can make a balloon weight out of a balloon and some sand. Just fill a balloon with about 1/4 cup of sand and tie in a knot. Then your balloons can free stand.
Glance over the party page that is close to your theme. Get your ideas from that.
Games
For the games, keep it simple...
- Simon Says
- Pin the tail on the donkey
- Musical chairs(a favorite at any age)
- Ring around the rosies
- Red rover, red rover
- Hide and seek(oh, teens love this one)
- Cartoon bingo
- Tag
Food and Drinks
CakePurchase or bake a cake in the chosen theme. Remember to keep it childish.
Food
- Peanut Butter and jelly sandwiches
- Gold fish crackers
- Fruit snacks
- Baby food if you're doing a baby theme(It is so funny seeing teenagers eating this stuff)
Drinks
Again, if it's a baby theme, serve milk in sippy cups.
Virgil's Rootbeer is a great choice. It's so good and relatively healthy.
Favors
Make the favors as silly and childish as you can. Keep with the theme. And don't forget to include a thank you note.
