Delicious Recipes For Healthy Party Salads
We all know that salads are a healthy party food. No surprise there. But they're also very easy. I like easy!
Just toss your ingredients in a bowl, and you're done. We don't want you stressed out the day of your party.
So relax, with these healthy salad recipes your party food menu will be a breeze.
Spaghetti
Prepare your favorite spaghetti noodles. Chill under cold running water. Cut up tomatoes and green bell pepper. Combine with noodles. Pour organic Italian dressing over all of it. Stir. Chill for at least 4 hours.
3 Bean
Combine 1 8oz can of lima beans
1 8oz can of green beans
1 8oz can of red kidney beans
1/2 c.chopped onion
1/2 c. chopped green pepper
For dressing combine...
1/2 c. vinegar
1/4 c. olive oil
3 tbsp honey
1 tsp celery seed
1 glove garlic, minced
Add to bean mixture.
Carrot and Raisin
Combine 3 shredded carrots
1 chopped apple
1/3 c. raisins
1 tsp lemon juice
1/3 c. mayo
1/4 c. slivered almonds
Chill for 2 to 24 hours. If it gets too thick, add a little milk.
Fruit
3 cups any fruit
lemon juice
1/2 cup dressing
Dressing...1/2 cup yogurt
1/2 cup fresh whipped cream
1/2 tsp shredded orange peel
3 tbsp orange juice.
Tomato Corn
I c. fresh corn
4 tomatoes(chopped)
1 red onion
1 chopped jalapeno pepper
basil leaves
3 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
salt
pepper
Mix and chill. Pour over cut up lettuce and serve.
Walrus
Combine 2 large apples(chop and squirt with lemon juice)
2 stalks of celery(chopped)
1/2 c.walnuts(chopped)
1/2 c. raisins
1/2 c.plain yogurt
Mix together and serve.
