Superhero Party Ideas
Superhero Party can be all superheroes, or you can narrow it down to one. The ideas below are for Batman, Spiderman, and Superman combined.
Invitations
Take a picture of your son in his favorite costume. Glue onto colored paper. If he is Spiderman, then use red. Cut out with wavy scissors. Glue onto card.
Write inside...
Calling all Superheroes. We are having a meeting at Top Secret hideout(your address). Be there at(time of party)for further instructions.
Seal with a Superhero sticker.
Party Costume
As this is a Superhero Party, you will want to provide costumes. Or you can ask them to bring their own. Provide masks as well. Don't forget the girls. Catwoman is a Superhero too.
Entrance Decor
Tie balloons on the mailbox. Make signs out of thick poster board. Write on them words like KABOOM, BAM, ect. Hot glue a garden stake on the back. Stick along sidewalk.
Hang a sign on the door that says...TOP SECRET HEADQUARTERS!
Decorations
Your colors are going to be red, blue, yellow, and black.
Group balloons in 3's. Tie on each chair. Place randomly around the room. Make a balloon weight with a balloon and some sand. Fill balloon with 1/4 cup of sand and tie in a knot.
Hang red, blue, and yellow curly ribbon from the chandelier. Wind fake spiderwebs down and around. Add plastic spiders. Suspend bats with fishing line.
Tablecloth can be yellow, red, or blue. For your centerpiece, place Superheroes here and there. Fill with more fake spiderweb, spiders, and bats.
Make skyscrapers out of cardboard. Place around room. Hang spiderwebs and bats in corners.
For plates and cups, you can use your child's favorite hero. You can also use plain red, yellow, or blue.
Games
Superhero Obstacle CourseSet up an obstacle course with old tires, tunnels, ect. Let the kids race through. Reserve plenty of time for this, because the kids love it.
Search for the Lost Papers
Tell the kids that you've lost some very important documents. Have them go on a search for them. Hide the papers before the party. Roll them up and tie them with ribbon.

Play just like Simon says.
Spiderweb Fight
Divide the party into 2 teams. Line them up facing each other. Give them each a can of silly string. Let them fight it out. The kids love this one.
Food and Drinks
CakeMake a Spiderman cake with a white iced round cake. Start in the middle with black frosting and swirl out. Drag a toothpick from the center to the outside. Do this all the way around.
Add plastic spiders. It will look like a spiderweb.
Make a Batman cake with plastic bats on a cake.
You can also just place a bunch of Superheroes on the top of a cake that has red, yellow, and blue sprinkles.

Favors
Purchase black gift bags. Tie yellow, red, and blue ribbon on handle. Place Superhero stickers on it. Fill with Silly string, stickers, squirt toys, yo-yo, superhero toy, and a thank you note.
