Survivor Party Ideas
The Survivor Party theme is very popular for birthdays. You can also do it just for fun. Teenagers absolutely love this party theme. Make it a party they will talk about all year.
Invitations
Make a card with a tribal mask on the front. Write inside...
Can you survive on (your last name)'s Island? Join (your teen's name) to see who can. Only come if you dare.

Party Costumes
Inform the guests to come in comfortable clothes. Jeans or shorts. Have two different colored t-shirt and bandannas. As the guests arrive, give them out. Alternate between the two colors.
Let them tie their bandannas wherever they want. Around their heads, wrist, ankle, arm, ect...
You'll end up with 2 teams.
Entrance Decor
Place Tiki torches along the sidewalk. Hang a tribal mask on the door. Have a large sign that says...
Enter (your last name)'s Island only if you dare!
Decorations
Your colors are going to be orange, green, yellow , and turquoise.
Rent, borrow, or buy palm trees. Put parrots in them. Have them everywhere. Alot of this Survivor Party is outside, but they'll be coming in and out. So you'll want to decorate the inside to look tropical.
Set up a table on one side of the room. Use a green tablecloth. Place tropical plants in the middle. Lean tribal masks on them.
Have Tiki torches in buckets of sand for decoration. Don't light them in the house.
For your plates and cups, you can use any tropical theme.
Have a large chalkboard to record their scores.
Games and Activities
Build Your ShelterAs soon as all the guests arrive, send them outside to construct a shelter. Supply them with items... Sticks, blankets, rope, ect.
See which team does the best. Write it on the scoreboard. Make it a little harder. It must pass the hurricane test. Use a large fan.
Obstacle Course
Set up an obstacle course. Have relay races and see which team is the fastest.
Endurance Test
Have the kids stand on a small stump. Who can stand the longest, wins. Make it harder...they have to stand on one leg.
Eating Contest
Have an eating contest. See who can eat the fastest. Food consists of...
- Money eyes(peeled grapes)
- Brains(cooked spaghetti)
- Chicken liver(the real deal)
- Cow's blood(tomato juice)
- Worms in dirt(gummy worms in crumbled Newman O cookies)
- Cow tongue(again, the real deal)
Give prizes to the winners. Have a big ceremony at the end of the party.
