Sweet 16 Hotel Party

I am hosting a sweet 16 hotel party for my daughter and 10 of her girls. What ideas do you have as far as entertaining them or interactive games?

Oh, how fun. Hotel parties are really popular with teens, so I think you're on the right track.

I would imagine that the hotel you choose will have a pool. This will take up a lot of the girls time. You can do different water games. Just make sure it is okay with the hotel.

The girls will love to sit and chat in the Jacuzzi. Serve them "champagne" in wine glasses and the girls will love it. Of course it will actually be sparkling grape juice.

You could do a small scavenger hunt, but check with the hotel management first and remember no running and no being loud.

Once you get back in the room, you can do simple crafts. All girls love to make jewelry. Have all the supplies ready for the girls to make bracelets and necklaces.

Or set up a mini spa. Give the girls manicures, pedicures, facials, and massages.

Food will take up some of the time as well. Have the traditional cake and candles, or serve cupcakes. Most teens love to order pizza. Or maybe you can order room service if the budget allows.

If the hotel is by a shopping mall, give each girl some money and go shopping. Play mall scavenger hunt for some extra fun.

Gather together fun teen board games. Have them in the room for the girls. If things die down, you'll have a back up plan.

Truth or dare is always fun for girls, but remember to be respectful of all the other guest in the hotel when doing a "dare".
