The Dog Birthday Party Game Ideas
Pinata - Dog Bone

Pinatas are always a lot of fun. Fill with candy or small doggie toys from the Dollar Store. Hang as part of the decorations. Kids of all ages love pinatas. Just use caution when letting the kids swing the bat.
Doggie Obstacle Course
Set up a obstacle course with doggie houses and fire hydrants. Make them out of thick poster board and hot glue a garden stake on the back. Set up two buckets of sand with dog bones in them and a shovel at the end.
Split up the guests into two teams. The first player of each team must race through the course and shovel the sand and bones from one bucket to the other and then race back to the next player. Then the next player goes. The first team to finish wins.
Find The Bones
Before the party, hide bones in the yard or party area. Give the kids doggy bowls and have them find the bones. Give prizes to the player who finds the most bones.
Dog House Decorating
Construct a large "dog house" out of large appliance boxes. Purchase paints and paint brushes. Let the kids decorate the dog house. I promise that they will play in the dog house a very long time. This is one of the
favorites of The Dog party.
Pin The Tail On The Doggie
Make a poster board with a dog on it. Make tails with construction paper. Play as you would Pin The Tail On The Donkey.
The Dog Birthday Party Cake Ideas
Bake a brown cake and use doggie cake toppers. Or make a dog face cake. Bake one 8 or 9 inch round cake any flavor and 2 cupcakes.
Cool cake completely. Place the cake layer on a cake plate and frost the sides and top with brown. Cut 3/8 inch from 3 side of the cupcakes to create triangles. Place on the top of the cake to look like ears. Cover
with frosting. Use candy to make your dog face.
